Chemical Skin peels performed by Dr Mac are an excellent way to rejuvenate and stimulate tired skin and encourage natural skin cell regeneration. There are 4 levels of SkinCeutical peel: introductory level Gel Peel GL, intermediate level Micropeel 20 or 30 and the Pigment Balancing Peel

The Gel Peel GL
This is the “entry-level’ peel in the SkinCeuticals professional treatment range – it includes 20% Glycolic Acid, 10% Lactic Acid. It is ideal as an initial peel for sensitive skin as it gently exfoliates dead skin cellls whist increasing moisture levels with lactic acid. In essence, if you haven’t had a professional chemical peel treatment before, Gel Peel GL is a lovely introduction.

Micropeel 20 & Micropeel 30 Solutions
These are advanced AHA peels that efficiently exfoliate dead skin cells whilst helping to reduce signs of photoaging including fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and visible skin imperfections.
Micropeel Solutions area formulated with 20% and 30% unbuffered and unneutralised glycolic acid at a low pH which accelerates cell renewal and fights photodamage.

The Pigment balancing peel
This peel is at the other end of the SkinCeuticals professional treatment portfolio spectrum. It is a deeper penetrating peel, which combines brightening and anti-inflammatory agents with a peeling solution to target hyperpigmentation, improve photodamaged skin and treat melasma and acne.
Pigment Balancing Peel contains 40% Glycolic Acid, 10% Citric Acid, 27% Vitamin C and 4% Emblica and will penetrate the skin more deeply. It is a unique chemical peel treatment to dramatically improve the uneven appearance of photodamaged skin, whilst helping to improve skin firmness and radiance.
