ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

are a very effective treatment to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Fine lines and wrinkles occur as the skin becomes less elastic with age. They become exaggerated by sun exposure, skin type, lifestyle and the loss of fat stores which usually create the appearance of youthful volume.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

are often used on the forehead (horizontal lines on the brow), the frown lines (vertical lines in between the eyebrows) and around the eyes (crow’s feet). It is a naturally occurring purified protein derived from bacteria, so is not animal based. It is a prescription only medication which has been used in medical practice since the 1960’s. Used correctly it is a safe product with minimal side effects.

After having an initial consultation about what your requirements may be, the treatment itself takes around 15-20 minutes to complete and is generally not considered to be a painful procedure.

AFTER THE TREATMENT

You can drive, head back to work immediately, or carry on with your day as planned; no recovery period is needed. It is an extremely safe procedure. Very occasionally there may be slight redness or swelling which settles over an hour or so. Rarely there may minimal bruising but this too will settle.

You will notice the results come on gradually over 2-14 days.

You will be offered a free follow up appointment with Dr MacDonald, in either West Sussex clinic, two weeks after your B anti-wrinkle treatment to ensure your expectations have been met and provide any free top ups that are required.
